Our vision at Chameleon Hair & Makeup is to make each and every guest to our salon feel welcomed, looked after, relaxed and leave feeling beautiful and pampered!

Chameleon hair & makeup is a beautiful, friendly, boutique AVEDA salon in New Lambton. We use AVEDA products for all aspects of hairdressing including the naturally derived hair colour

We are an environmentally friendly salon and align ourselves with Aveda’s green philosophy: Renewable Energy

Chameleon Hair & Makeup was established by Beth Holmes & Toni Crombie in 2009. Beth has now left Chameleon to enjoy motherhood with her little boy Darcy.

About the Staff

Toni – Owner

Toni is originally from Scotland, and a few years ago fulfilled on her dream to move to Australia. She is now a true-blue Aussie, and loves Newcastle’s wonderful lifestyle, climate and culture. Toni is an experienced salon owner and now pours all her expertise and passion into Chameleon hair & Makeup. She has a real eye for fashion trends around the world and loves interpreting those into the latest styles for her clients.

Cherie – Senior Hairdresser

Cherie comes from a family of very talented hairdressers and owned her own salon in Tamworth. She loves the beach lifestyle here in Newcastle and is a highly-valued part of the Chameleon team! Cherie enjoys all aspects of hairdressing, and really loves creating a new look for her clients, combining her strong skills in both colouring and cutting.

Elise – Senior Hairdresser

Elise is our newest team member. She brings a high degree of talent and enthusiasm, and is always on the pulse of what’s in fashion. Her passion is using colour to create original and beautiful outcomes for her clients and specializes in creating healthy shiny blonde hair.

Nat – Senior Hairdresser

Nat moved to Newcastle from Coffs Harbor 8 years ago.  For the past 8  years she has worked in Newcastle, she has worked with Aveda products. Nat has 16 years hairdressing experience and enjoys all aspects of hairdressing, particularly creating new looks with colouring and cutting for clients. So far Nat is loving the pace of Chameleon and the extra care she can give to her clients.
